Established in 1950, Indian Head Bakery is a small community minded business. While the Bakery has changed hands a few times over the years, our goal remains the same. We strive to provide top quality products at a fair price to our customers, both here and in surrounding communities. Involved locally with the many groups and organizations in Indian Head, the Bakery is here to stay.
Our product range offers a large variety of favourites, many fun options, and flavourful treats. Whether it be Parker House buns for a family dinner, bread bowls for chili night, or a slice tray for that last minute meeting - we have the products to meet your needs and expectations.
In house we offer delicious home made soup daily. Our subs and sandwiches are made in-store with our freshly baked bread. We have many varieties available, a weekly special and a panini press if you want to switch things up.
Need a to feed a larger group? In addition to our soup and sandwich combos, we have meat, cheese, veggie, and dainty trays available for all sized groups. Please contact us to discuss your catering needs.
Our full serve deli changes up seasonally, In summer we carry a variety of grilling options. Some are prepared and ready to hit the grill like our kabobs, ribs, & crusted tenderloins. Other choices like our AAA beef and pork are ready to be cut into the steak or chops you want to season yourself. Fresh sliced deli meat beats the packaged variety any day, and with so many choices you can have a different creation every day! The winter months bring numerous Heat and Eat ready to serve meal options for your busy life.

Bart and Lisa Horsman
Born and raised in Indian Head, Bart married Lisa in 1994. Together they have spent many years in the community, actively participating in many of the groups in town, and raising their two children.
They purchased the Bakery in 2010 and after a whirlwind set of renovations, opened the doors 5 days later.
Bart runs the Bakery full time, and Lisa, a full time teacher at the Elementary School, can often be found here on her days off.
